Social Events
TIMSCDR organizes Social Event annually to inculcated sense of Responsibility and empathy amongst the student towards those who are under privileged Social visits are paid to orphanage, old age home or special school. The event also arouses a sense of philanthropy amongst the students.

Beach Cleaning
On June 6, 2025, TIMSCDR organized a Beach Cleaning Drive in association with the Muskurate Raho Foundation (NGO) at Mahim Beach, Mumbai.
CSFW visit
From June 1 to June 28, 2025, the DLLE Cell of TIMSCDR participated in the School Kit Collection and Distribution Event organized in association with CSFW (NGO). The activities were carried out at multiple locations, including Tendular Hall, CSMT, Snehalaya, Anamprem at Ahilyanagar, and Palghar, providing educational materials to underprivileged children
Blood Donation Drive
On May 2, 2025, the DLLE Cell of TIMSCDR, in association with the Mahatma Gandhi Blood Centre, organized a Blood Donation Drive to encourage voluntary blood donation and support community health.
UBA Village visit
On April 25, 2025, the UBA Village Visit was conducted at Aware Gaon under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) initiative to engage students in rural development and community awareness activities.
Energy Literacy Training
From March 30 to April 6, 2025, the DLLE Cell of TIMSCDR conducted Energy Literacy Training to enhance students’ awareness and understanding of sustainable energy practices.
Visit to Bendshil Village, Ambernath
On December 11, 2024, a one-day visit to Bendshil Village, Ambernath, Thane was organized under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan in collaboration with the DLLE Cell to engage students in community development activities.
INSEED Exhibition
On October 17, 2024, a Diwali Craft Exhibition was organized in association with INSEED (NGO) at the TCET Gangway, showcasing creative projects by students.

TIMSCDR Green Club: Tree plantation
On June 15th, 2024, the TIMSCDR Green Club conducted the tree plantation activity. 10 Teaching and Non-Teaching staff participated in the plantation. 10 pants were of 3 Parijat, 3 Neem 3 Bel and 1 Amla were planted in the football field besides the college campus.

On May 18, 2024, the Green Club and DLLE Cell conducted a Beach Cleanup Drive at Juhu Chowpatty, Mumbai, in association with the NGO Project Mumbai.
Rally on “Save Water”
On March 21, 2024, the TIMSCDR Green Club conducted a Rally on “Save Water” to raise awareness about water conservation.

INSEED Activity
From September 9, 2023, to February 17, 2024, TIMSCDR, through the DLLE Cell, offered various courses to 8th and 9th-grade students of Matrabhumi High School under the INSEED Foundation at the TIMSCDR campus.

Workshop on “KITCHEN WASTE MANAGEMENT”
Session on “Kitchen Waste Management” were organized by Ms. Bhagyashree Chemburkar on 29th August 2023. She demonstrates participants the technique of converting kitchen waste into organic compost and protecting the environment by reducing the landfill waste.

International Day of Yoga 2023 – Quiz 2.0
On May 30, 2023, an online quiz on Yoga was organized to celebrate International Yoga Day and to promote physical and mental well-being among students.
Paper Bag Distribution Drive
On April 28, 2023, the DLLE and MGNCRE Cells of TIMSCDR, in association with Soch Sayani Social Group, Kandivali (E), organized a Paper Bag Distribution Drive to promote eco-friendly practices.
Paper Bag Making Activity
From April 23 to 27, 2023, a Paper Bag Making Activity was conducted in which 180 students actively participated as part of an environmental awareness initiative.
Participation in World’s Largest Climate Clock Assembly & Display
On April 22, 2023, DLLE students participated in the Climate Clock Event to raise awareness about climate change and emphasize the urgency for sustainable action.
World Water Day Celebration
On April 13, 2023, a visit to the Borivali Slum was organized in association with the UMEED Foundation. A total of 68 DLLE members conducted a “Save Water” awareness session and performed a street play emphasizing the importance of water conservation.
Donation Drive
From March 13 to 25, 2023, the DLLE Cell organized a Donation Drive, collecting books, clothes, school bags, and stationery from students and faculty members for the UMEED Foundation. The collected items were distributed to the underprivileged residents of the Borivali Slum.
Energy Literacy Training
From December 15 to 31, 2022, all DLLE members attended a 5-hour online Energy Literacy training organized by the Energy Swaraj Foundation, aimed at fostering awareness about sustainable energy use
Indian Swachhata League Participation
On September 17, 2022, students participated in the “Rally of Youth for Garbage-Free Beaches, Hills, and Tourist Places” organized by the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation as part of the Indian Swachhata League.
Tree Plantation
TIMSCDR were organized a tree plantation program around the ‘ Jyeshtalay ‘ park area, Borivali East on 13 August ,2022 , under the program ‘ Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘.
The program started with felicitation of MS. Asawari Patil , Corporator for R – Central Ward by Dr. Vinita Gaikwad , Director , TIMCSDR. The program aimed to plant saplings along the roadside, which could resist the pollution. The director expressed the importance of planting trees and saving nature. The teachers, non-teaching staff, and students all indulged in the process of plantation.
The HoD Academic Ms. Mira Gohil gave a vote of thanks to all the teachers and the students, a special thanks was paid to Ms. Asawari Patil who helped a lot to let this day.

WDC Cell organized webinar on “Cyber Sakhi” by Responsible Netism to foster digital empowerment, a safe cyber experience and ensure mental well-being in cyber space 30th September, 2021 from 01:00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. The session was attended by 122 students and staff members of TIMSCDR

Webinar on “Enchant the Real High”
Webinar on “Enchant the Real High” was organized in association with Art of Living by Mr. Ramnik Bansal, Life Coach, Public Speaker, and Youth Mentor in India to educate students about menaces of Substance abuse on 8th February 2021 from 03:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Total 134 students from first and second year were participated.

Online workshop on “KITCHEN WASTE MANAGEMENT”
Online workshop on “Kitchen Waste Management” were organized on 23 October 2020 in association with Aamhi Udyogini Prathishthan(AUP) and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Development Cell.

Online guest lecture on “Guidance on health and immunity”
Online guest talk on “Guidance on health and immunity” were organized on 8 September 2020 in association with Aamhi Udyogini Prathishthan(AUP) by Ms. Rekha Divekaar Former Lecturer at sathey college, Mumbai discussed various health habits and important of nutrition to reduce the risk and impact of virus infections, as well as to build a more resilient immune system over the long term.
Village adoption
Village adoption is an effort to facilitate positive impacts among rural and tribal communities. This scheme is considered as a model for energizing the rural economy in India and to avoid rural – urban migration which research has shown to be harmful to both; rural and urban people of India and their regions.
TIMSCDR had adopted “Belkadi Village “in Thane district, located in Vasai City in Maharashtra State. It belongs to Konkan region.
The objective of village adoption is to make villagers self sufficient to improve their living conditions, to apply IT skills to either train villagers or provide them IT based solutions to their general problems and to inculcate social responsibility in students and staff.
Village Adoption will help the students to learn things practically. Also, the residents of the adopted village will benefit through the action initiated by the staff and students of TIMSCDR which focus on their development.

Visit on September 2018
A group of faculty and students paid a visit to the Belkadi village on the 29 September, 2018. The Institute donated two computers to the Z.P. School at Belkadi. Participants interacted with villagers and school kids, distributed snacks, stationary for school kids, engaged the schools children in educational games and distributed some clothes among teens and elders staying in the village

Social Event at Prayas(schooloing street Life), Goregaon (W) on 16 March 2017
The Institute organized Social Visit on 16 March 2017 at Prayas(schooloing street Life), Goregaon (W). 84 students and 4 faculty members participated in the activity. Students and staff from TIMSCDR donated foods, clothes, books and stationery and facilitated the program by entertaining and engaging the under privileged school going kids from the nearby slums during the event.
India is currently in the middle of an all out movement to modernize the way things are paid for. New bank accounts are being opened at a heightened rate, e-payment services are seeing rapid growth, cash-on-delivery in e-commerce has crashed, and digitally-focused sectors like the online grocery business have started booming.
As per AICTE guidelines, Cashless India Campaign was organized by Thakur Institute of Management Studies, Career Development & Research (TIMSCDR) in Association with Jhakaas Technologies Pvt. Ltd. on 27th December 2016.
Mr. Bharat Mandot, Director, Jhakaas Technologies Pvt. Ltd. addressed the Students and Faculty members about the Cashless India and its advantages. Mr. Jeetendra Sanjeeva, from Jhakaas Technologies addressed students about Cashless India Awareness Campaign and its objectives.
More than 200 students, 20 faculty members and most of the staff members from TIMSCDR participated in the event. All the students from TIMSCDR, interacted with the merchants from Thakur Village, Kandivali (E), Mumbai. A survey of about approximately 200 merchants was done. Students also interacted with the Customers and surveyed approximately 600 customers from Kandivali (E) region and made them aware about Cashless India and its benefits
It was found in the campaign that even the vegetable vendors on the streets, grocery shop owners have started using e-wallets and m-wallets.
Social Event at Mary Emaculate Hall, Borivali(W) on 16th July, 2016
A social event was conducted in collaboration with Karuna Hospital, Borivali (w) at Mary Emaculate Hall to support and help the under privileged kids by providing the much required educational material for their schooling.
School bags, tiffin box, water bottle, books and other stationery material was distributed amongst the under privileged kids during this event.
Dr. Jacob Thomas, Consulting physician, Diabetologist & Cardiologist JM Diagnostics, gave a talk to the kids about the relevance of hygiene and important of good health’s. Student and faculty from TIMSCDR engaged the kids in games.
Academic Year 2015-16
Social Cause at Damu Nagar slum, Kandivali (E) on 7th December 2015
On 7th December 2015, Damu Nagar slum was engulfed by fierce fire due to multiple explosion of LPG cylinder. Faculty and staff extended a generous hand is helping the homeless slum dweller by distributing utensils and clothes.
