TIMSCDR is having Women’s Development Cell to achieve following objectives:

• To organize seminars, workshops relating to women empowerment for development of women and to enhance their self confidence
• To create social awareness about the problems of women

Activities held under WDC:

Weekly Self Defence classes are organized for all students.

MoU with AUP

On 3rd December, 2019 MoU was signed to Amhi Udhyogini Prathishthan (AUP) to conduct activities to promote Women Entrepreneurship amongst the young women graduates of TIMSCDR.

‘Aamhi Udyogini’ is a trust established 20 Years back on 8th March 1997. This organization was formed with the sole intention of women empowerment, a dream and vision of founder member Mrs. Meenal Mohadikar.

Networking – Women Entrepreneurs

To encourage entrepreneurship amongst young Women Graduates of TIMSCDR and also to facilitate business opportunities to other Women Entrepreneurs who are members to AUP, TIMSCDR has provided the classroom facility for conduct of Networking Meetings. During these meetings Women Entrepreneurs network with one another and share their experiences and also opportunities to help each other to excel in their respective businesses.

Online workshop on “KITCHEN WASTE MANAGEMENT” 

Online workshop on “Kitchen Waste Management” were organized on 23 October 2020 in association with Aamhi Udyogini Prathishthan(AUP) and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Development Cell.

The session was conducted by Asst. Prof. Aprajita Singh who discussed with the participants technique of converting kitchen waste into organic compost and protecting the environment by reducing the landfill waste.

Online guest lecture on “Guidance on health and immunity” 

Online guest talk on “Guidance on health and immunity” were organized on 8 September  2020 in association with Aamhi Udyogini Prathishthan(AUP) by Ms. Rekha Divekaar Former Lecturer at sathey college, Mumbai discussed various health habits and   important of nutrition to reduce the risk and impact of virus infections, as well as to build a more resilient immune system over the long term.

Guest lecture on “Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship ” by Amhi Udhyogini

Guest talks on “Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship” were organized on 28th February, 2019 in association with Aamhi Udyogini Prathishthan(AUP). Dr. Anjali Tayade, owner of Arthita Bags, Mumbai, shared her own entrepreneur journey. Ms. Vaishali Kandalgoankar, owner of Shradha classes discussed various case studies on how to grab opportunities from small ideas to become successful entrepreneurs

On 21^st January 2020 , Ms. Aarti Rahul Mhaskar delivered talk on Online Advertising Techniques as a powerful eMarketing tactic for targeting more customer and expanding online business.

On 15^thNovember, 2019 the Networking Facility was inaugurated at the hands of the Founder member, Mrs. Meenal Mohadikar, who also delivered talk on “SWOT Analysis" and how it is important for an Entrepreneur.

International Women’s Day Celebration (8^thMarch, 2019)

Women’s day celebrated on 8^th March, 2019 with Guest lecture of Dr. Mukesh Gupta to aware about cervical cancer including causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention among girls students and women’s staff members of TIMSCDR.

Guest lecture on “How to be an Women Entrepreneur” by Amhi Udhyogini(16^th October, 2018)

To create Entrepreneur a guest lecture was organized on 16^th October, 2018 in association with Aamhi Udyogini Prathishthan’. The guest speakers of the day were Ms. Meenal Mohadikar, President, Aamhi Udyogini Pratisthan, Mumbai, Dr. Smita Raste, Dr. Smita’s Herbal Laboratories, Ms. Aparna Kulkarni, Neel Beverages Pvt. Ltd. and Ms. Meenal Zende, Yadnya Associates

Self Defense for girl students(3 and 4 October 2018)

Self Defense for girl students were arranged as per the directives received from Women and Child Welfare Committee of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on 3 and 4 October 2018.The workshop was conducted by Shihan Sachin Chavan, Karatenomichi World Federation India ( KWF ) Chief Instructor, Leader and representative of KWF which includes Orientation and Judo/ Karate training.
